Job Description
The Baylor University School of Law invites applications for a Clinical Assistant Professor or Lecturer (non-Tenure Track) to join the Legal Analysis, Research and Communication (LARC) program, starting May 1, 2026.
Teaching responsibilities are based on Baylor Law's curricular needs and the instructor’s experience; however, the primary teaching assignment is expected to be LARC 3, a course that focuses on persuasive legal writing and involves assisting with the related intramural moot court competition. Qualifications
- An earned Juris Doctor
- Evidence of impressive academic performance in law school, such as a noteworthy ranking or GPA, earned law review membership and involvement, or other law school honors, for example, Order of the Coif membership.
- Minimum of three years’ experience in written and oral advocacy, including drafting appellate briefs and presenting oral arguments.

Experience as a practicing attorney in any field is preferred. Salary is commensurate with experience and qualifications.
