Clinical Assistant Professor | Modified Full Time

New York University College of Dentistry seeks applicants for a full-time faculty position on the clinical educator track (non-tenure) in the Dr. Ignatius N. and Sally Quartararo Department of Endodontics. The faculty in this position will primarily provide laboratory and clinical instruction to the pre-doctoral program as well as clinical and seminar instructions to post-graduate endodontic students. Scholarly effort will be expected as a part of the employment, by participation in research efforts of the Department and/or other scholarly work in consultation with the Chair.

In compliance with NYC’s Pay Transparency Act, the annual base salary range for this modified full time Clinical Assistant Professor position is $125K - $195K. New York University considers factors such as scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate experience, education and training, key skills, internal peer equity, and market conditions when extending an offer.

Applicants must have completed an accredited postdoctoral program in endodontics and be either board-eligible or a Diplomate of the American Board of Endodontics. Candidates must also possess, or be eligible to obtain, a New York State dental license or a New York Dental Faculty license issued by the New York State Department of Education. Preferred qualifications include an M.S. and/or Ph.D., a demonstrated record of scholarly publications, and experience in clinical teaching.
