Postdoctoral Associate (Scoccimarro)
The fellow is expected to work on the implementation of Vlasov Perturbation Theory (VPT) for Galaxies in Redshift space, from the power spectrum to the bispectrum of galaxies, extending previous models based on Standard Perturbation Theory and Effective Field Theory to VPT. The ultimate goal is to build an improved version of the COMET code based on SPT/EFT to VPT, that can be applied to constraining cosmology in present and upcoming galaxy redshift surveys.
In compliance with NYC’s Pay Transparency Act, the annual base salary range for this position is $62,500.00 - $70,000.00. New York University considers factors such as (but not limited to) the specific grant funding and the terms of the research grant when extending an offer.
This position is based in New York and the selected candidate will be expected to work onsite as of their effective start date.
