About the role

The Department of Surgery and Cancer at Imperial College London seeks to appoint a Clinical Associate Professor in Colorectal Surgery providing an outstanding opportunity to join a world-leading team whose interdisciplinary research ranks as one of the global premier academic departments of surgery.

What you would be doing

You will be expected to lead an academic programme in Colorectal Surgery. The programme would be aligned with the strategies of all three divisions within the Department of Surgery and Cancer.

What we are looking for

You will be expected to demonstrate a developing international reputation in your field of research and an ability to attract funds to support this. Additionally, you will have a proven track-record in publishing, education, as well as a good reputation in provision of clinical service. You will be required to play an active role in leading undergraduate and postgraduate education in surgery. Clinical responsibilities will include development of the Colorectal service.
