Job Summary:
As an important member of the CU Medicine Division of Gastroenterology and Hepatology, the physician will have clinical responsibilities including outpatient clinic, outpatient endoscopy, and inpatient hospital consultation/endoscopy.
The physician will see outpatients at the Lone Tree Specialty Clinic, conduct ambulatory endoscopy procedures at the Highlands Ranch Hospital, and participate in inpatient GI consultative services at Highlands Ranch Hospital.
The successful applicant for this position will be someone who communicates appropriately and effectively with patients, staff, consultants, and colleagues, has outstanding customer service skills, and accepts responsibility in maintaining relationships that are equally respectful to all.
Key Responsibilities:
- Evaluation and management of GI disorders within the scope of a general gastroenterology including (not limited to): GERD, Dysphagia, IBS/functional GI disorders, Constipation, Diarrhea, Gastrointestinal bleeding/iron deficiency anemia, Eosinophilic Esophagitis, Inflammatory Bowel Disease, Abnormal liver function tests, Liver cirrhosis, Pancreatitis, GI motility disorders
Work Location: Onsite - this role is expected to work onsite at the Lone Tree Specialty Clinic and Highlands Ranch Hospital in South Denver metro.

Qualifications:
Minimum Qualifications: Applicants must hold an MD degree. Applicants must be board-certified or actively board-eligible in Gastroenterology. A State of Colorado medical license and DEA license must be obtained on or before hire date. 2-3 year(s) of post fellowship experience.
Preferred Qualifications: At least 3 years of post-graduate GI clinical practice experience. Experience with Electronic Medical Records, such as Epic. ACLS and BLS certification.

Anticipated Pay Range: HIRING RANGE: $200,000 to $250,000 Total Compensation. This is based on Total productivity of benchmarks met.
