Clinical Psychologist Child & Youth
Job Summary
As a Clinical Psychologist for Child & Youth at the Leids Universitair Behandel en Expertise Centrum (LUBEC), you will provide high-specialized care, integrate scientific insights into daily work, and help develop a specialized team for anxiety and trauma in youth. This role involves evidence-based treatment, collaboration with experts, and potential expansion to a family-oriented approach.
Responsibilities
- Treat children with state-of-the-art anxiety interventions based on the latest scientific insights, in collaboration with the anxiety research group at the University of Leiden.
- Work family-oriented for trauma, treating parents in adult care and children in the youth team.
- Collaborate with researchers and colleagues to develop and implement innovative treatment methods.
- Lead your own treatments and those of junior colleagues.
- Provide work supervision to colleagues in training.
- Possibly take on a role as a practical trainer for post-master programs.
Qualifications and Requirements
- Registered clinical psychologist (BIG) with specialization in Child & Youth.
- 3-5 years of work experience as a clinical psychologist is preferred, especially for training roles.
- Affinity with anxiety and trauma treatment in youth and a commitment to evidence-based practices.
- Experience in guiding trainees and shaping practical training programs.
- Innovative mindset, contribution to a safe work and training environment, and enjoyment of academic work in a GGZ context.
What the Employer Offers
- A meaningful and varied role in an academic GGZ environment.
- Employment contract for 22.8 hours per week (0.6 FTE) for one year, with potential for permanent position.
- Salary range from €6,286 to €7,651 gross per month for a full-time position (38 hours), based on experience (scale 13, CAO Nederlandse Universiteiten).
