Position Highlights

Duties & Responsibilities

• Provide Telephone Interpersonal Counseling intervention to cancer survivors enrolled in the research study per the research protocol, including communicating and scheduling participants for sessions, and documenting sessions appropriately in RedCap or otherwise.
• Manage daily symptom summary reports for UACC oncology providers, including triaging the report to the correct provider and communicating any issues to the research team.
• Review medical records when appropriate as it pertains to the study. This may include prescreening for eligibility or auditing for data quality.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

• Must be knowledgeable with RedCap for data collection as well as Cerner electronic medical records system.

Minimum Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent advanced learning attained through professional level experience required.
• Minimum of 3 years of relevant work experience, or equivalent combination of education and work experience.

Preferred Qualifications

• Bilingual (fluent) in Spanish and English
• Masters prepared social worker or mental health counselor with experience in working with oncology patients and/or family members.
