Clinical Research Manager
- Full-Time Continuing position
- Clinical Research Management position spanning a diverse range of clinical trials
- Base Salary $152,045 - $160,430 (effective June 2026) + 17% superannuation

The Brain and Mind Centre is a global leader in research and treatment, focusing on conditions that affect child development, youth mental health and brain ageing. The work extends beyond laboratories and clinics to strong partnerships with industry, government, the community, and other healthcare providers and researchers.
Play a key role in advancing world-class clinical research at the Brain and Mind Centre. As Clinical Research Manager, you will lead the development of clinical research capability and capacity, supporting high-impact programs in mental health and neuroscience. Working within a highly collaborative and multidisciplinary environment, you will drive the implementation of a clinical trials platform, strengthen quality frameworks, and enable researchers to deliver innovative and compliant clinical research.
Join a highly collegial, closely-knit team to oversee a wide range of research in partnership with researchers, academics and external stakeholders. Trials range from child neurodiversity, neurodegenerative diseases including Multiple Sclerosis and Motor Neurone Disease to mental health and ageing.

Your key responsibilities will be to:
- work closely with Chief Investigators, Program Heads, and research teams to support the development and delivery of clinical research and trials
- lead the development and implementation of a clinical trials platform, including quality frameworks and operating models
- provide expert advice across the full clinical research lifecycle, from protocol development to study close-out and audit
- design and deliver training, education, and capability-building initiatives to strengthen clinical research practices
- establish and embed policies, procedures, and governance processes aligned with ICH-GCP, ethics, and regulatory requirements
- build and manage stakeholder relationships across the University and with external partners to enhance research quality and impact
About you
- relevant qualifications and/or extensive senior experience in clinical research, clinical trials, or research management
- demonstrated experience managing complex, multi-stream projects in a clinical or research environment
- strong understanding of ICH Good Clinical Practice, ethics, governance, and regulatory requirements
- experience developing and implementing policies, procedures, and research support models
- proven ability to build and maintain effective relationships with diverse stakeholders across academia, healthcare, and industry
- experience leading and developing high-performing teams, providing strategic guidance and support.
