Job Summary

The Coaching Program Director plays a crucial role in fostering a positive and effective coaching environment. This position is responsible for supervising, mentoring, and supporting coaches while ensuring that all program standards and goals are met. The ideal candidate will bring strong leadership and organizational skills, a passion for leadership development, and a commitment to building a high-performing coaching team.

Responsibilities

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES: 1-6 -

  1. Serve as the primary liaison between coaches and the organization's leadership, addressing concerns, facilitating communication, and ensuring alignment with program goals.
  2. Gain coaching experience to develop an understanding of a coach's developmental path. Offer technical and strategic advice to coaches, helping them refine their techniques and maximize their effectiveness. Provide constructive feedback and organizing training sessions to enhance their skills and confidence.
  3. Oversee intake of coaching requests and assign coaches to ensure programs are equipped to meet institutional goals.
  4. Design and oversee coaching methods and tools to share with internal coaches.
  5. Establishing coaching objectives in complex situations with multiple stakeholders (i.e., the individual client, the direct manager, Human Resources, people lateral to the client, etc.)
  6. Developing as a coach practitioner while effectively partnering with other internal coaches and externals within an evolving field where coaching platforms and technology, particularly AI, play an increasingly prominent role.
  7. Work one on one with leaders to help them reach their professional goals and achieve their full potential.
  8. Use a variety of coaching techniques, including assessment tools, goal-setting strategies, and feedback mechanisms, to help clients make progress
  9. Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients to build trust and rapport
  10. Provide guidance and support to help clients navigate complex organizational dynamics and interpersonal relationships
  11. Stay informed of industry trends and innovations to ensure the continuous improvement of coaching methods and practices
  12. Design and deliver training and development programs for organizations and groups

Required Qualifications

Educational Requirements

Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution of higher education in Organizational Development, Psychology, Human Resources or related field

Other Required Qualifications

Certificate in leadership coaching and/or Certification from a recognized coaching organization
Current, valid and unrestricted driver's license

Required Experience

Seven (7) years of experience in training, leadership development or leadership coaching

Preferred Qualifications

Preferred Educational Qualifications

Advanced degree from an accredited institution of higher education

KNOWLEDGE

Proven track record of successful client outcomes
Knowledge of a variety of coaching techniques and methodologies
Experience with organizational development
Familiarity with industry-specific challenges

SKILLS

Proficiency in assessment tools and techniques
Excellent interpersonal, initiative, teamwork, problem solving, independent judgment, organization, communication (verbal and written), time management, project management and presentation skills
Proficient with computer applications and programs associated with the position (i.e., Microsoft Office suite)
Strong attention to detail and follow up skills
Strong customer service skills and phone and e-mail etiquette
