Job Summary/Basic Functions

Duties:

• Unload, sort, and shelve food donations.
• Prepare food boxes for clients, maintain cleanliness, and ensure safety standards.
• Coordinate donation drives and pick-ups from local stores, farms, or food drives.
• Act as the contact for campus partners for donation drives.
• Manage inventory software, and ensure compliance with health regulations.
• Sort, weigh, and inspect incoming food donations.

Key Qualifications & Skills

• Physical Stamina: Ability to stand for long periods and lift heavy boxes (often 30-60+ lbs).
• Organization & Safety: Knowledge of food safety, expiration date checking, and sanitation protocols.
• Customer Service: Compassion when interacting with clients and volunteers.
• Must be able to pass a background check
