Community Engagement & Participatory Researcher (Part Time) – Grade 7
We are seeking a highly motivated researcher to join a multi-disciplinary team to engage with communities and stakeholders to understand their viewpoints on linking health and environmental data. You will work together with project partners and the people from diverse and underserved backgrounds to co-produce information that is easy to digest on the challenges and benefits of linking data, and best practice guidance.
You should have demonstrable skills in qualitative data analysis, including familiarity with, or knowledge of, engaging research methods (e.g. participatory video, photovoice, development of neighbourhood portraits, interviews, community surveys, mapping).
You should have a PhD degree in relevant areas of Public Health and experience of organising and conducting research in a community setting (for example in community development, public health, environment, social policy).
The post is available until 31 August 2026 and is part time (0.6 fte).
If you are still awaiting your PhD to be awarded you will be appointed at Grade 6, spine point 30. Upon written confirmation that you have been awarded your PhD, your salary will be increased to Grade 7, spine point 31.
