Computer Information Systems Lecturer
Job Details
The lecturer will teach various Computer Information Systems courses, including Introduction to Business Applications of Computers, Data Management, Introduction to Programming; implement a new Computer Science curriculum; and design new courses in Data Structures and Algorithms, Programming (Python, Java or C++), Cloud Computing and Client/Server Web Programming.
The lecturer may be required to teach one evening per semester during the academic year. Summer teaching is optional.
Candidates for teaching positions in the Business, Hospitality & Technology Education Division must possess a master’s degree (MA or MS) in Computer Science from an accredited institution. A Doctorate is preferred. The successful candidate must be competent in the use of digital learning tools and applications. In addition, a minimum of three (3) years of teaching experience at the college/university level is preferred.
