Content Strategist
Coastal Carolina University is currently accepting applications for the following full-time position: Content Strategist in the Office of University Marketing and Communication.

Required Qualifications: A bachelor’s degree and marketing, communication, media, or writing experience are required.
Preferred Qualifications: Marketing, communication, media, or writing experience in a higher education or agency setting. Experience developing and/or adhering to extensive brand guidelines. Experience working with design teams. Experience using project management software.
Duties include, but are not limited to: COMMUNICATION: Write, edit, and optimize a wide range of original content types, ensuring high quality, accuracy, and consistency using Associated Press and University style requirements. MARKETING: Responsible for helping to shape the University’s overall communication and marketing content strategy, ensuring creativity, alignment with brand identity guidelines, and effective engagement of target audiences. Collaborate closely with various teams to create and implement compelling marketing content across multiple platforms. WORKLOAD MANAGEMENT: Create and manage task lists, calendars, and meetings to plan, schedule, and track content production and distribution across various channels, including websites, social media platforms, email newsletters, and print materials.
Public Information Coordinator (BC20/61121977/FTE-S01063P), full-time position with benefits. SC State Pay Band: 05. Salary Range: $39,764.00 (minimum) – $56,670.00 (midpoint). Normal work hours are Monday through Thursday, 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. and Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. May be required to work occasional nights and weekends and could require limited travel. Must be flexible to meet the special scheduling needs of the university.
