Work Hours: Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m., with occasional evenings and weekends as needed.

Job Summary:
Reporting to the Executive Director of the Foundation, the Coordinator, Board/Foundation Relations serves as the primary liaison between the Board of Directors and the Foundation. This role ensures strong, responsive communication, engagement, and management through face-to-face and written interactions, meeting oversight, and accurate reporting/record-keeping. The Coordinator supports strategic Board and Foundation initiatives and fosters a professional environment that strengthens governance and collaboration.
Primary Duties and Responsibilities:
Essential Performance Requirements*
- Serves as the central point of contact for the Board and Foundation office. Facilitates communication between Board and staff, and also among Board members. Ensures timely dissemination of important information throughout the organization.
- Schedules Board and committee meetings, prepares and distributes agendas and meeting materials, takes accurate minutes to record decisions.
- Prepares, distributes and maintains accurate and up-to-date reports, calendars and records, including Board meeting minutes, membership lists, budget/finance data, and Board/Foundation files
- Assists with the orientation of new Board members, providing them with necessary information and resources
- Provides high-level customer service and office support to Board and Foundation operations.
Service Excellence
- Participates on behalf of the College in external community organizations and associations as assigned to support the essential performance requirements
- Attends the workplace regularly, reports to work punctually, and follows a work schedule to keep up with the demands of the worksite
- Completes all required training and professional development sessions sponsored through Tarrant County College (TCC)
- Supports the mission, values, goals, and principles of the College
Supervision
Works under the general supervision of the Executive Director of the Foundation

Required Minimum Qualifications:
- Associate’s degree or 60 college-credit hours
- Three (3) years’ working experience related to the Essential Performance Requirements
Preferred Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
- Knowledge of organizational practices related to project and time management
- Skilled in professional standards for written and verbal communication
- Skilled in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Teams, Access)
- Skilled in customer service and interpersonal relationships
- Skilled in handling confidential information with discretion and professionalism
- Skilled in managing multiple priorities in dynamic work environments
- Ability to work effectively in a collaborative environment
- Ability to think critically to solve and communicate problems in a fast-paced setting with varied and unpredictable demands
- Ability to analyze data and provide sound recommendations based on policy, procedure, practice, and existing regulations

Work Environment
The work environment characteristics described here are representatives of those an employee encounters while performing the essential functions of this job. While performing the duties of this job, the employee occasionally works near moving mechanical parts and is occasionally exposed to risk of electrical shock. The noise level in the work environment is usually quiet.
