Job Description
The Coordinator of Student Affairs supports the student experience at the Lincoln Memorial University-College of Veterinary Medicine at Orange Park (LMU-OPCVM) through the coordination of student activities, organizations, and events. This role manages day-to-day functions of student government representatives, clubs, and organizations; organizes and implements campus and community-based programs; and recruits and supervises student ambassadors. The Coordinator assists in the development and administration of the peer-to-peer mentorship program, supports student engagement in industry partnerships, and promotes opportunities that advance student professional development and wellness. Working under the direction of the Director of Student Affairs, the Coordinator helps foster a vibrant and supportive learning environment consistent with University values.
Required Qualifications
Bachelors degree in related field
Preferred Qualifications
knowledge of university program goals and objectives familiarity with veterinary medical field relevant experience in higher education

Job Duties
- Supervise day-to-day functions of representatives from the student government, clubs, and organizations
- Support community outreach programs and special events on and off campus
- Supervise community volunteer opportunities for students and student groups in the respective programs
- Organize, plan, and direct the implementation of on-campus events, such as open houses, white coat ceremonies, commencement activities, orientation, and other special activities for OPCVM
- Collaborate with the Marketing and PR department to ensure correct branding and logos are used for external events
- Recruit, train, and supervise all OPCVM student ambassadors
- Work within the student activities budget
- Plan and organize off-campus student trips
- Respond to telephone and e-mail inquiries regarding the admissions process
- Process application information, supplementary applications, and supporting documentation
- Update applicant files and notify applicants of application status
- Act as liaison between students and the academic affairs department
- Participate on university committees
- Promote effective working relationships among faculty, staff, and students
- Perform other duties as assigned
