DEPARTMENT: Disability Services - Academic Enrichment & Retention SUPERVISOR: Director of Disability Services FLSA STATUS: Exempt EMPLOYMENT STATUS: Full-time

POSITION DESCRIPTION:

Coordinate accommodations and support services that enable eligible students with disabilities to receive equal access to an education and all aspects of University life.

RESPONSIBILITIES/DUTIES:

• Proctoring Exams
• Monitoring the Testing Room
• Coordinating note-taking services
• Securing accessible textbooks
• Interpreter scheduling
• Maintain the workflow for student registration with ODS and provide short-term academic coaching.
• Assist the Director in the daily operations of disability services.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

• Bachelor's degree or higher
• Experience/strong interest in disability services and student access.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

• Degree in Psychology, Social Work, Counseling, Education, or related field
• Experience in higher education student support
• Knowledge of assistive technology and technology products such as Microsoft Office, Apple, and Google.
• Experience with data management programs used in disability services.
