The Georgia Cyber Innovation and Training Center is the single largest investment in a cybersecurity facility in the nation to date. The $100 million facility will help to fill the current and growing shortage of cybersecurity talent in the state and nation.
Job Summary
Reporting to the CRC Program Manager, the CRC Program Coordinator 1 serves as the frontline service representative to CRC clients, providing a vast array of cybersecurity services to clients, such as rural hospitals, manufacturers, school districts, and local government organizations. This position will lead, train, and mentor CRC student assistants, and support the Program Manager to ensure seamless CRC operations that deliver professional services to clients.
Responsibilities
The duties include, but are not limited: OPERATIONS AND PROGRAM MANAGEMENT: Supports the CRC Program Manager with managing the SAV (site assisted visit) program at the operational level, overseeing 5-10 Student Assistants, while planning and executing 4-5 concurrent CRC SAVs at a time, ensuring standardized quality and consistency across teams. Utilizes and understands SAV workflows, compliance and risk frameworks, and lifecycle management to oversee multiple engagements and manage dependencies. Uses analytical and advisory skills to conduct vulnerability assessments, support the development of security testing plans and methodologies, and recommend remediation strategies. Collaborates with the CRC team and directs the student assistants' execution of comprehensive cybersecurity risk assessments, identification and classification of vulnerabilities and risks, and cybersecurity monitoring services. COMMUNICATION, REPORTING, AND DATA SYNTHESIS: Works with the CRC Program Manager to aggregate and synthesize data from Coordinator I teams, pulls required metrics for the CRC Director and Assistant Director, Operations CRC, and produces structured reports and briefings for senior leadership. Develops a strong understanding of SAV operations, reporting standards, metrics, and executive briefing processes. Utilizes skills in communication, synthesis, and stakeholder engagement to assist the CRC Program Manager in representing subordinate team operational status to senior leadership. LEADERSHIP AND PROFESSIONAL DEVELOPMENT: Manages between five to ten Student Assistants who pull and synthesize data as directed by the CRC Program Manager, and briefs senior leadership on program performance, risk, and growth. Seeks continuous knowledge of cybersecurity frameworks and enterprise resiliency policy and governance to help improve CRC services and help inform CRC mission alignment. Develops and employs skills in organization, team leadership, and operational planning to translate enterprise strategy into the successful execution of operations. Supports executive decision-making to progress professional development toward CRC Program Manager and Director-level responsibilities. OTHER: Perform other duties as assigned. This role may require occasional travel to support business operations, stakeholder meetings, or project delivery.
Required Qualifications
Bachelors degree from an accredited college or university in information technology, computer science, cybersecurity, or a relevant field of study and six months of cybersecurity team support experience.
Preferred Qualifications
Master's degree from an accredited college or university in information technology, computer science, cybersecurity, business, or a relevant field of study. Industry IT or cybersecurity related certification. One year of cybersecurity team support experience.

Shift/Salary/Benefits
Shift: Days/M-F (Work outside of normal business hours may be required)
Pay Band: B10
Salary: Minimum $52,500/annually
Salary to be commensurate with the qualifications of the selected candidate within the established range (generally minimum midpoint) of the position.
