  • Base Salary $103,185 - $111,237 + 17% superannuation

About the opportunity

The Curriculum and Quality Officer sits within the Faculty of Arts and Social Sciences (FASS), delivering specialised curriculum, accreditation and quality assurance support across six schools. The role works at the centre of academic operations — coordinating committees, managing curriculum data, supporting Faculty Handbooks and ensuring compliance with University and regulatory requirements. It is a highly collaborative position that supports the smooth delivery of the Faculty’s coursework programs.

Your key responsibilities will be to:

  • coordinate curriculum, accreditation and quality assurance processes across coursework programs within FASS
  • provide executive and secretariat support to curriculum committees, including agenda preparation, minute taking and accurate reporting of decisions
  • manage and maintain curriculum data across university systems (including Sydney Student) ensuring accuracy, compliance and timely updates
  • support the development and publication of faculty handbooks, sydney courses and website content, ensuring information is accurate and aligned with approved curriculum changes
  • collate, analyse and report on enrolment, load and performance data to support course reviews, planning and quality assurance activities
  • provide expert advice to academic and professional staff on university policies, procedures and regulatory requirements relating to teaching and curriculum

About you

  • demonstrated experience interpreting and applying complex university policies, procedures and resolutions within a tertiary environment
  • strong analytical skills with the ability to collate and interpret data, draw sound conclusions and present findings clearly in written reports
  • proven experience maintaining curriculum or academic content within university systems and content management platforms
  • highly organised with the ability to manage competing priorities, meet deadlines and exercise sound judgement in a high-volume environment
  • excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the confidence to build effective working relationships across academic and professional staff
  • proactive and solutions-focused, with the initiative to resolve complex issues and continuously improve processes and workflows.
