"Custodian Group Leader - Housing"

Position Summary

Rutgers, The State University of New Jersey, is seeking a Custodian Group Leader – Housing for the Division of Institutional Planning & Operations (IP&O).

Among the key duties of this position are the following:

• The position guides, leads and instructs a group of custodians.
• Maintains and distributes supplies and equipment.
• Fills in during foreperson's absence.

Minimum Education and Experience

Two years experience in custodial work.

Equipment Utilized

Needs to be proficient in operating floor machines, shampooers and vacuums.

Physical Demands and Work Environment

Must be able to lift and carry at least 50 pounds while climbing stairs

Special Conditions

Shift hours/Schedule: Wednesday- Sunday 8:00 AM-4:30 PM weekdays, 6:00 AM – 2:30 PM weekends
