Job Description

Thiel College invites applications and nominations for the position of Dean of Students. The College seeks a dynamic leader within the Student Life division to provide comprehensive leadership for student engagement and success, well-being, safety, crisis management, and residence life. This position offers the opportunity to shape the student experience at a creative and energetic institution positioned to thrive academically and financially.

The Dean leads a broad team overseeing student life, wellness, campus safety, residence life and conduct, faith and spirituality, and co‑curricular programs. Working collaboratively across the division and the College, the Dean provides leadership for this comprehensive portfolio to advance student success, retention, and graduation.

Greenville, PA, a borough of about 5,700 residents in northern Mercer County along the Shenango River, offers a classic small‑town atmosphere with a walkable downtown, local shops, and historic architecture, along with a strong sense of community. Its location is about 90 minutes from Pittsburgh, Cleveland, and Erie, and provides convenient access to major cultural and travel amenities while preserving the charm, safety, and convenience of small‑town living, supported by its proximity to Interstates 80 and 79.

The salary range for this position is $75,000-$95,000 with a comprehensive benefits package.
