Montana Technological University (Montana Tech), Montana’s Special Focus institution for science, engineering, and technology, invites applications and nominations for the Dean of the College of Letters, Sciences, and Professional Studies (CLSPS). Montana Tech’s purpose is to rise to meet America’s emerging needs by preparing the next generation of STEM leaders.  Reporting to the Provost and Executive Vice Chancellor, the Dean serves as the chief academic and administrative leader of a diverse and strategically vital college encompassing the sciences, health and nursing, mathematics and data science, business, education, interdisciplinary studies, and the liberal studies core. This is an exceptional opportunity for a forward-looking academic leader to shape applied, workforce-aligned, and interdisciplinary programs at a nationally recognized STEM-focused university known for experiential learning, affordability, and strong career outcomes. The Dean will advance student success, program distinction, faculty excellence, and collaborative partnerships while fostering a collegial culture grounded in shared governance and continuous improvement. An earned terminal degree, qualifications for appointment at the associate or full professor level, and a minimum of five years of progressively responsible academic leadership experience are required.
