The Department of Accounting and Finance is seeking an adjunct faculty member to teach in the areas of Accounting or Finance. Professional licenses and relevant work experience are preferred. Our Accounting and Finance concentration equips students with the knowledge and skills necessary to address complex accounting and financial challenges. The program emphasizes technical expertise, as well as strong communication skills, ethics, and problem-solving abilities.

JOB SUMMARY

The Department of Accounting and Finance is seeking an adjunct faculty member to teach in the areas of Accounting or Finance. Professional licenses and relevant work experience are preferred. Qualified candidates must demonstrate a commitment to excellence in teaching and mentoring a diverse student population and to working effectively with faculty, staff and students across a wide range of disciplines.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

Master's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; a Doctoral degree is preferred (must be completed by the time of appointment).
Relevant work experience in accounting, finance, or a related discipline is preferred.
Evidence of scholarly activity, publication, and innovation in the field is highly valued.
Exemplary graduate-level teaching and leadership experience at the program level is preferred and should be highlighted in the application.

4. Unofficial copies of all postsecondary degree transcripts (official transcripts will be required prior to appointment).
5. Reference List - names, telephone numbers, and email addresses of three (3) referees whom we may contact to obtain letters of recommendation. Confidential letters of recommendation will be solicited from those listed as references on the application if the applicant is moved forward in the recruitment process.
