Developmental-Behavioral Pediatrics Clinician Educator

The Stanford Department of Pediatrics is committed to advancing the health of infants, children, and adolescents through innovative medical care, research, education, training, and advocacy. The Division of Developmental-Behavioral Pediatrics in the Department of Pediatrics at Stanford University School of Medicine/Stanford Medicine Children’s Health is recruiting a Clinician Educator as a Clinical Assistant, Clinical Associate, or Clinical Professor. The major criterion for appointment as Clinician Educators is excellence in the overall mix of clinical care, teaching, administrative and/or scholarship appropriate to the programmatic need the individual is expected to fulfill.

Responsibilities include: Training clinical fellows, residents, and medical students; Seeing patients in the DBP clinics. Qualifications: M.D., D.O. or equivalent; Board certification/eligibility in Developmental-Behavioral Pediatrics from the American Board of Pediatrics (AAP), or Neurodevelopmental Disabilities from the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology (ABPN); Eligibility for a California Medical License. We are particularly interested in candidates comfortable with a wide range of ages and developmental-behavioral conditions, with a strong record of accomplishment in scholarship and/or administration. There is opportunity for interdisciplinary leadership for those with relevant experience and interest.

The expected base pay range is: Clinical Assistant Professor: $209,000 - $221,000; Clinical Associate Professor: $239,000 - $251,000; Clinical Professor: $271,000 - $292,000. Stanford University is an equal employment opportunity and affirmative action employer.
