Job Title: Differential Equations Peer Learning Leader

Job Description: This posting will remain open to generate a pool of qualified student applicants for available positions during the semester. 1. Lead group learning sessions one to two times a week 2. Assists students with specific course-related concepts and problems 3. Provide feedback to instructor on student performance and participation in learning sessions 4. Facilitates development of effective, related study skills 5. Participates in regularly scheduled meetings with supervisor 6. May consult with faculty for course resources, guidance, and direction 7. Works approximately 5 to 10 hours per week depending on the number of sessions led 8. Develop and maintain relationships with professor and student participants

Required Qualifications: Must be a currently enrolled student and registered for classes Must have completed MATH 3335 with an A Must be dependable and professional

Preferred Qualifications: Ability to communicate and listen effectively while working closely with others Ability to work and stay on task with minimal supervision Experience in the Math Lab or other tutoring experience

Salary: $13.00/hour
