About the Team:
Learning Design and Innovation resides in the Learning and Teaching portfolio and is responsible for: developing strategic directions in digital learning, cross sector learning design, the use of educational technologies and physical learning environments at VU.
About the Role:
The role of the Digital Experience Administrator is to provide high level administrative support and consultation, coordination and development of courses for VU TAFE, and the utilisation of the Learning Management System (LMS) within Victoria University.
Position Key Duties
Provide a range of support services and administration of the LMS (VU Collaborate).
Create/develop teaching spaces, content, assessment tasks, grade items and rubrics.
Develop training resources, including guides and videos to support the delivery of courses and units to students and industry.
Develop and deliver a wide range of staff capability training.
Provide eLearning support and advice to teaching and administrative staff.
Data entry, drafting communications, taking minutes and action items, organising meetings and following up on relevant action items
Salary: HEP 6 $91,796 - $99,361 per annum, plus 17% employer superannuation
Employment Type: Full-time fixed-term (backfill until 9/12/26)
Hours: 36.75 (1.0 FTE) hours per week
Location: Footscray Park Campus

About You:
Experience in the administration and support of Learning Management Systems (LMS), preferably D2L Brightspace in a tertiary education or large corporate environment.
Knowledge and experience of a range of current online learning platforms and applications, including Adobe, HTML, Padlet, H5P and the MS Office Suite.
Aptitude or ability to work with relevant University systems and databases.
