Manages the day-to-day operations of the Financial Aid Office, particularly those duties associated with office operations, such as the reporting to the Federal and State governments, computer system set-up, the processes associated with importing student applications, notifying students of missing documents, packaging rules setup, awarding, and payment of financial aid to students, and the management of the alternative student loan programs. Coordinates with the Assistant Director for Student Relations the ongoing operation of the Financial Aid Office in the absence of the Director.
Min Salary: $69,474.78
Mid Salary: $78,159.12 - We offer a competitive salary package that will be determined based on the candidate's experience level and qualifications related to the job. Compensation will be commensurate with your level of experience.

Education Required: Bachelor’s degree in the area of Business Administration, Education, or related field from an institutionally accredited college or university.
Education Preferred
Experience Required: Two years’ financial aid administration experience required.

KSA Required:
- Demonstrated ability to manage and use financial aid management software with a preference for Datatel Colleague experience.
- Ability to exercise considerable judgment based upon a thorough knowledge of Federal and State regulations.
- Ability to supervise office personnel.
- Excellent analytical skills.
- Ability to work effectively with students, faculty, and staff.
- Ability to work independently with light supervision.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality of students’ records.
- Ability to operate a personal computer, including proficiency with MS Office Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Access.
- Ability to participate as a team member, ability to understand and interpret rules and regulations, and ability to readily adjust to change.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills.

Department/Job Specific Requirements:
- Departmental work hours are from 8 am to 6 pm Monday through Thursday and 8 am to 5 pm on Friday. A flexible work schedule will be determined by the supervisor to cover the necessary hours. Registration, graduation, and other heavy work periods will require additional hours. Evening and weekend work may be required.
- Must be able to maneuver independently among offices, buildings, campus locations, and off-site locations as necessary to complete job requirements.
- The following (compliance) training is required and must be completed within the first 30 days of hire with annual refresher training thereafter: Ethics, Safety/Shooter on Campus, Personal Information Protection Training (PIP), Anti-Discrimination/Harassment & Title IX, Other training may be required as determined applicable.
