Director, Communications, Events, Research, & Operations
DIRECTOR, COMMUNICATIONS, EVENTS, RESEARCH, AND OPERATIONS, Corporate Relations, will oversee each of the sub-groups (communications, events, and research) and coordinate the interrelated activities of the entire team; and support the Executive Director with various operational duties to include strategic planning, project management, and organizational development. Key responsibilities include ensuring intentional, consistent messaging to internal and external stakeholders with print, electronic, and social media; consistent branding with the ILP and STEX programs; evaluating and evolving conference and event strategy to align with organizational goals; reviewing and evaluating research products impact to stay ahead of industry trends and best practices; manage special projects and initiatives; facilitate communication and coordination across departments/work groups; and provide administrative operational support to the Executive Director.
REQUIRED: Bachelor's degree in Communications, Event Management, Business Administration, or a related field; a minimum of seven years of related work experience; proven experience in (some combination of) communications, event planning, and research; demonstrated leadership and team management skills; strong communication and interpersonal skills; ability to multitask and manage multiple projects simultaneously; strategic thinking and problem-solving abilities; proficiency in communication tools and platforms; strong analytical skills and attention to detail; ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines; knowledge of industry trends and best practices. PREFERRED: Master's degree.
