Position Overview
The Director of Admissions & Enrollment Management will provide strategic leadership and operational oversight for student recruitment, admissions, and enrollment initiatives at SAU Tech. This role is critical to advancing institutional growth, improving student access, and supporting retention through data-driven and student-centered enrollment strategies.
The Director of Admissions & Enrollment Management will play a pivotal role in shaping the future of SAU Tech by driving enrollment growth and enhancing student access. This position offers an opportunity to lead innovative recruitment strategies while contributing to the institution’s long-term success and community impact.
This is a 12-month, 40 hours per week, on-campus position. If not residing in Camden or surrounding area, relocation is required.

Key Responsibilities
Strategic Enrollment Leadership
- Develop and implement a comprehensive enrollment management plan aligned with institutional goals.
- Analyze enrollment trends, market data, and student demographics to inform recruitment strategies.
- Establish measurable enrollment targets and monitor progress toward goals.
Admissions Operations
- Oversee all admissions processes to ensure efficiency, accuracy, and compliance.
- Evaluate and streamline application procedures to improve the student experience.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of state and federal regulations impacting admissions.
Recruitment & Outreach
- Lead recruitment initiatives targeting high schools, adult learners, workforce populations, and underserved communities.
- Build and maintain partnerships with regional schools, businesses, and community organizations.
- Coordinate campus visits, events, and outreach campaigns to increase visibility and engagement.
Marketing & Communication
- Collaborate with marketing staff to design and execute enrollment campaigns across digital and traditional platforms.
- Ensure consistent messaging that reflects SAU Tech’s mission and program offerings.
- Utilize CRM systems and communication tools to enhance prospective student engagement.
Data Management & Reporting
- Use data analytics to track application, admission, and enrollment metrics.
- Prepare regular reports for the VCSA on enrollment performance and trends.
- Leverage technology to improve forecasting and decision-making.
Team Leadership & Collaboration
- Supervise admissions and enrollment management staff providing training, mentorship, and performance evaluation.
- Foster a collaborative environment across departments including financial aid, advising, and academic affairs.
- Promote a culture of service, accountability, and continuous improvement.
Qualifications
Required:
- Bachelor’s degree in higher education, business, marketing, or a related field.
- Minimum of five (5) years of experience in admissions, enrollment management, or student services.
- Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
Preferred:
- Master’s degree in a relevant field.
- Experience with enrollment management systems and CRM platforms.
- Demonstrated success in increasing student enrollment and retention.
