"Director of Annual Giving"

Position Summary/Description

This position may be eligible for a hybrid work arrangement that may include a partially remote work location, consistent with System Office policy. UNC Chapel Hill employees are generally required to reside within a reasonable commuting distance of their assigned duty station.

Reporting to the Executive Director of Annual Giving, the Director will oversee and drive the strategy for a multi-channel, donor-centric communications program, including direct mail, telephone constituency engagement, email, crowdfunding, and other digital strategies. The Director will manage the direct marketing and school and unit teams.

Education and Experience

3-5 years of demonstrated successful annual giving or transferrable experience is preferred. Experience with Blackbaud CRM and Salesforce Marketing Cloud preferred.

An employment history highlighted by increasing levels of responsibility and a demonstrated ability to exercise sensitivity and good judgment in dealing with staff and the public. Superb interpersonal relationship skills. Exceptional written and oral communications skills.
