The Dental College of Georgia at Augusta University... We also serve patients in more than 20 clinics across Georgia.

Job Summary

This position is responsible for assisting students, faculty, and residents with supplies and instruments for all patient care activity and/or pre-clinical activity. Responsible and accountable for electronic inventory control of supplies, equipment and dental instruments... Responsible for maintaining supplies for all clinics, dispensaries and clinical labs.

Responsibilities

The duties include, but are not limited to:

• MAINTAIN INSTRUMENTS: Issue instruments... Notify students of instruments not returned...
• MAINTAIN EQUIPMENT AND SUPPLIES: Maintain equipment... Deliver and stock clinic supply room...
• INVENTORY CONTROL: Responsible for new electronic inventory control...
• ORGANIZE AND MAINTAIN ROOMS: Organize and maintain all rooms...
• LOSS CONTROL: Ensure all broken items...
• MAINTAIN SUPPLEMENT INSTRUMENTS: Prepare, distribute...
• OTHER DUTIES: Perform all other duties as assigned.

Required Qualifications

High school diploma, or GED, or equivalent... and two years of experience in a customer service setting with a basic understanding of inventory control.

Preferred Qualifications

Graduation from a Dental Assisting Program with two years of experience in dental assisting.

Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities

KNOWLEDGE: Knowledge of the principles of infectious disease transmission... Knowledge of basic computer skills.

SKILLS: Excellent verbal and written communication skills

ABILITIES: Ability to maintain confidentiality... Ability to communicate with dental assistants...

Shift/Salary/Benefits

Shift: Monday-Friday (Occasional Weekends 3-4 times per year)

Pay Band: B3

Salary: Minimum $16.54/hour. Salary to be commensurate with qualifications...
