Description

The Department of Ecology and Evolutionary Biology has opened one temporary Lecturer position. We are interested in individuals who can teach one 3-credit hour course EEB/ANTH Human Anatomy for the Departments in both the fall and spring semesters. This in-person course is offered in Fall 2025 (August 18 – December 2, 2025) and in Spring 2026 (January 20 – May 6). While the primary responsibility of this role will be to instruct a single 3-credit hour course per semester, a full-time position may be possible depending on departmental need

Qualifications

The ideal candidate for this position will hold a Ph.D. (by date of appointment) in a Life Science or related discipline, with meaningful coursework or experience in Human or Gross Anatomy. The candidate should have demonstrated teaching excellence and experience with innovative, high-quality pedagogical practices in teaching region-based anatomy. Documented professional development related to teaching and learning is desirable
