Educational Designer/Technologist- Medicine Program Redesign (MPR)
Position Summary
The Educational Designer / Technologist works collaboratively with academic staff within the Medicine Program Redesign (MPR) team to design, develop, implement, evaluate, and enhance courses and programs that support high-quality student learning experiences. The role focuses on applying evidence-based pedagogical approaches and technology-enhanced learning strategies to create engaging online and blended learning environments within Medicine & Health programs.
The position is responsible for supporting curriculum innovation through the use of Learning Management Systems and educational technologies, as well as developing engaging multimedia learning resources including video, audio, and other digital content. This includes managing all stages of multimedia production from planning and recording through to editing and post-production.
The role also involves advising academic staff on curriculum design, assessment strategies, course evaluation, and the integration of innovative technologies to improve teaching practices and student outcomes. In addition, the Educational Designer / Technologist contributes to professional development initiatives, workshops, and collaborative networks that promote best practice in learning and teaching across the faculty.
