Job Description
Full-time position, short-term (currently ends June 30, 2026) staff position for a grant-funded project focusing on child, adolescent, and family homelessness and how educational systems can support such individuals.
- Create 2 or more (2 minimum) professional development trainings aimed at education professionals (birth through high school) and relevant stakeholders within the state, as identified by project directors, including MS Powerpoint presentations with text and graphics, each for an equivalent of at least 3 clock hours in the Missouri early education training system, focused on project topic and using project-generated information.
- Create 5 or more (5 minimum) two- to five-page (can be slightly longer) aimed at education professionals (birth through high school) and relevant stakeholders within the state, as identified by project directors, text and graphic, information briefs (also known as brief reports) using MS Word or equivalent software that is available to the project directors, similar to those found on meric.mo.gov and dss.mo.gov, focused on project topic and using project-generated information.
- Conduct interviews and focus groups, at multiple times throughout the project, with relevant potential consumers of these trainings and briefs, including educators and stakeholders, as identified by project directors, to obtain feedback about the developed trainings and briefs to inform usefulness and needed improvements.
- Write a report, for each iteration of interviews and focus groups, about the feedback received during them, including an overview/summary of the primary points and details about information received based on subgroups of individuals included in the process.
- Update training and information briefs based on feedback, documenting what was changed and how it addressed the identified concern.
- Conduct searches for existing trainings and information briefs on project topics to include in research teams gathered artifacts and to inform creation of trainings and briefs.
- Conduct searches of popular media and Internet to identify, download (for the gathered project artifacts), and use to inform the creation of trainings and information briefs.
- Assist with writing project-required reports and other artifacts based on information gathered and creation of trainings and information briefs.
Provide general support to the full research team on various tasks required to accomplish other goals of the project

Minimum Qualifications
A Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience and at least 1 year of experience from which comparable knowledge and skills can be acquired is necessary
Preferred Qualifications
Master's degree preferred
Anticipated Hiring Range
Salary Range: $22.00 - $30.00 hourly
