About the Role

We are seeking a collaborative and student centred Employability Programs Coordinator to lead the delivery and continuous improvement of key career development initiatives across the University.
Reporting to the Manager, Career Development, the Employability Programs Coordinator has oversight of Swinburne’s employability programs, with a strong focus on the flagship Professional Purpose Program. In this role, you will shape and deliver programs that help students reflect on their strengths, explore career possibilities, and confidently articulate their future direction. You will be responsible for building academic partnerships, tailoring content to align with curriculum and using the Learning Management System (LMS) to create authentic learning experiences.
You will work closely with academic staff, professional teams and students, playing an important role in ensuring employability initiatives are engaging, evidence based and impactful.
As Employability Programs Coordinator, you will:
- Coordinate, deliver and continuously enhance the Professional Purpose Program and support other employability programs
- Design and deliver engaging workshops that support student employability and career development
- Embed career development into curriculum by partnering with academics
- Develop clear, targeted communications to promote and increase awareness of employability programs
- Monitor and evaluate program outcomes, using data and insights to inform improvements
- Coordinate reporting on program performance and impact
- Build strong, collaborative partnerships with Schools and University business units
- Contribute contemporary, theory informed career development expertise to institutional initiatives

Qualifications
- A qualification in a relevant discipline (e.g. Career Development, Human Resource Management, Psychology) supported by relevant industry experience
- Eligibility for membership of a CICA-recognised career professional association
