Your next career opportunity
As the Engagement Officer for MedTech Programmes, you will play a key role in driving student engagement initiatives within the Victorian Medtech Skills & Devices Hub. You'll have the opportunity to collaborate with student societies, industry partners, and external stakeholders to promote VMH activities, manage internship programmes, and coordinate engaging events. This role offers a platform for you to enhance your skills in stakeholder management and event coordination, contributing to the growth of the medtech industry.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Coordinate Student Engagement: Assist with internship matching, event execution, and student-focused communications.
- Manage Partnerships and Collaborations: Build relationships with student societies and facilitate collaborative events and promotions.
- Provide Administrative Support: Maintain stakeholder databases, take minutes at meetings, and support various projects.
- Promote VMH Activities: Develop digital communications and attend events to promote VMH education and internship programmes.
You may be a great fit if:
You will have extensive experience in events management and community engagement, with the ability to build collaborative relationships and manage stakeholder interactions effectively.
You may also:
- Have a degree with relevant experience in events or community engagement.
- Possess strong organisational and time management skills, able to prioritise workloads and meet deadlines.
- Demonstrate proficiency in social media platforms and Microsoft Office suite.
- Be adept at exercising judgement and maintaining confidentiality and initiative.
- Have knowledge or experience in the higher education or medtech sector.
