Student Life

The Student Life Directorate delivers services and evidence-based programs for current students that aims to contribute to improved health and wellbeing; as well as supporting students to succeed in their higher education studies. The Directorate has three major teams focused on (1) Health and Wellbeing; (2) Students course advice, course progress and success; and (3) Student Experience and Student Voice. The Directorate focuses on taking a person-centred approach when engaging with students; collaboration across Schools and Directorates and continuous quality improvement to make a transformational and meaningful impact on students experience at University. 

About the Opportunity

You will join a team of skilled student experience professionals. As a member, you will be responsible for:

Supporting key transition and engagement programs, including orientation, student activities and engagement campaigns.

Assisting with event administration, financial and asset administration, and collecting data to inform continuous improvement.

About you

You will be able to demonstrate:

How you have made an impact by coordinating operational tasks, such as event administration, data collection, scheduling, and supporting smooth delivery of activities.

Your capability in using digital tools, systems and communication platforms to support campaigns, track participation, and ensure consistent, timely information management.

How you build productive working relationships across teams by being reliable, organised and responsive to internal stakeholders' needs.

Your ability to prioritise tasks and solve routine problems, using initiative to identify issues early and escalate when required to keep workflows on track.
