Skills/Qualifications
The competition is open to persons who meet the requirements set forth in Article 113 of the Law of July 20, 2018. Law on Higher Education and Science (Journal of Laws of 2024, item 1571, as amended) and meet the following criteria:
- At least a Master's or equivalent professional degree in English Philology, evidenced by the relevant diploma;
- Documented participation in training programmes, courses, workshops or work placements aimed at enhancing professional qualifications in the field of foreign language teaching;
- Knowledge of the principles of designing and implementing the teaching process and authorial foreign language teaching programmes in accordance with the requirements of the Polish Qualifications Framework and the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages (CEFR), including a proven ability to develop syllabuses and course descriptions;
- Experience in teaching general and specialised English at academic level;
- Experience in developing examination content and in conducting examinations in general and specialised English at a higher education institution,
- The ability to utilise modern information and communication technologies in the process of teaching foreign languages, including e-learning tools and educational platforms,
- Experience in translating texts from Polish into English and from English into Polish, as well as a willingness to carry out translations for the Academy; experience in consecutive interpreting would be an advantage,
- Readiness to teach classes in accordance with the timetable set by the Foreign Languages Institute

- statement on meeting the conditions specified by the Law on Higher Education and Science - appendix no. 2;
- statement of reading the information clause RODO and consent to the processing of personal data by the Academy of Fine Arts Wrocław in accordance with RODO - appendix no. 3;
- statement regarding processing of personal data - appendix no. 4;
- copies of other documents confirming qualifications, internship and skills necessary for the position covered by the competition, documents issued in a foreign language should be translated into Polish.
