Environmental Health & Safety Specialists
Implement health and safety policies and procedures to ensure compliance with all applicable regulations and organization policies. Responsible for emergency response planning, fire prevention, hazardous waste management, resource conservation, regulatory compliance, development, and updates of EHS policies and plans as required for different countries and locations. Perform safety audits and inspections to find potential hazards and take corrective actions where issues arise. Source, develop, and deliver necessary EHS training sessions, maintain and update training records and certificates. Investigate accidents and incidents to determine what caused them and take steps to prevent them in the future. Prepare detailed reports and follow up on recommended corrective actions associated with completed compliance & oversight reports, incident reports, observations, and root-causes. May be responsible for reporting incidents to workers compensation employee or vendor.
Environmental Health & Safety Specialist, III: Requires a bachelor's (or equivalency) + 6 years or a master's (or equivalency) + 4 years of directly related work experience.
