About the Role
Located within the Education, Experience, and Employability (EEE) Portfolio and reporting to the Manager, Evaluation and Analytics, the Equity Evaluation Coordinator plays a key role in refining, assessing and reporting on university projects and services. This includes government- and partner-funded initiatives delivered within the Portfolio and across the broader institution.
Working closely with a wide range of stakeholders, the Equity Evaluation Coordinator ensures that program and service objectives are clearly defined, well understood and achievable. The role is responsible for administering internal processes related to funding allocation and decision-making, and for guiding the development and implementation of robust evaluation and reporting frameworks that support effective program assessment. The position contributes to activities funded through initiatives such as Needs Based Funding (NBF), the Student Services and Amenities Fee (SSAF), the TAFE Services Fund (TSF) and the Disability Support Fund (DSF).
The Equity Evaluation Coordinator is also responsible for building evaluation capability across the Portfolio by supporting and upskilling colleagues, including service managers. The role ensures that agreed evaluation practices, processes and tools are applied consistently and effectively, enabling services and initiatives to remain purposeful, evidence-based and outcomes-focused. This work delivers high-quality insights that inform program leads, governance bodies, and government and university stakeholders.

About You
To be suitable for this role you will need to have experience in the below key accountabilities:
- Well developed analytical, conceptual and problem-solving skills, including the ability to interpret and effectively communicate policies, strategies and procedures in complex and sensitive environments
- Strong technical skills including programming skills , business intelligence software skills, and statistical software skills
- A thorough understanding of data collection, processing, modelling, analysis and communication as they relate to program effectiveness, operational efficiency, and quality in higher education
- Demonstrated ability to extract and analyse data from complex and diverse data sets and systems and to utilize business analysis tools to develop and maintain data models, reporting systems, dashboards and performance metrics

Qualifications
A degree with at least 4 years’ subsequent relevant experience; or extensive experience and management expertise in technical or administrative fields; or an equivalent combination of relevant experience and/or education/training
