Compensation and Benefits
The anticipated salary hiring range is $5,274 to $5,597 per month (Steps 1 - 4), commensurate with qualifications and experience. The salary range for this classification is $5,274 to $7,684 per month. This is a full-time, probationary, exempt position. Positions at Fresno State are to perform their work onsite.
Job Summary
The Executive Assistant to the Office of the President provides advanced administrative, operational, and workflow support to ensure the effective daily functioning of the President’s Office. Working under the general direction of the Chief Communications Officer and Chief of Staff, the position serves as the lead administrative coordinator for front office operations, including office workflow, document routing, meeting and event logistics, records coordination, constituent intake, student assistant support, and administrative follow-through.
Key Qualifications
- Knowledge of executive office operations, administrative systems, and organizational practices in complex institutions.
- Principles of professional judgment, confidentiality, discretion, and executive-level service.
- University policies and procedures related to travel, procurement, hospitality, budget, records, and administrative operations.
Education and Experience
Equivalent to a bachelor's degree in a related field and two years of experience providing high-level administrative support or related experience.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience providing executive-level support to a senior leader, cabinet member, president, vice president, CEO, or comparable executive.
- Experience in higher education, public administration, government, nonprofit, or other complex mission-driven organization.
