Who are we looking for?
We are seeking a Exercise Physiologist to join Office of the Deputy Dean, Faculty of Health.
A dedicated Exercise Physiologist is required to support quality teaching and supervision of Exercise Physiology students, and excellence in the provision of student-led clinical care to clients within the QUT Health Clinics (QHC). The role requires strong teamwork, clinical and education skills.

The QHC offers Optometry, Podiatry, Psychology and Counselling, Nutrition and Dietetics, Exercise Physiology and Eating Disorders clinics which provide interdisciplinary clinical care including extensive outreach services.
What you need to succeed
- A degree in Exercise Physiology with subsequent relevant experience, and current accreditation as an exercise physiologist with ESSA.
- Ability to be flexible, innovative and creative in a healthcare setting.
- Proficiency to incorporate into practice quality improvement activities and evidence-based practice principles.
- Ability to impart caring, compassionate and quality care in the provision of health services.
- Aptitude for teamwork and collaboration with staff across the university.
- Developed interpersonal skills, consultation, negotiation and effective written communication skills.
- Able to take direction and develop teaching and clinical education skills in the provision of services to clients in conjunction with the clinical education of work integrated learning student withing the curriculum.
