A Little More About What You Will be Doing

The Facility Coordinator II is responsible for general maintenance and equipment repair at an advanced level for the Cedars-Sinai Medical Network to include multiple facilities including Robertson, Wilshire, La Cienega, Cedars-Towers and other sites as required.

Primary Duties and Responsibilities

  • Provides building maintenance and repair to include:
    • HVAC system monitoring and repair;
    • Plumbing maintenance and drain repair;
    • Electrical and lighting system repair;
    • Furniture and office equipment repair;
    • Wall cover repair to include painting and texturing, etc.
  • Coordinates and schedules contractors' services when scope of work requires outside services.
  • Performs necessary project coordination and supervision when tenant improvement projects are undertaken.
  • Assists in the disposition and control of inventories allocated to warehouse storage.
  • Provides minor janitorial support as necessary for the sanitary delivery of clinical services.
  • Coordinates room set-up and preparation for meetings and other events.
  • Assumes additional responsibilities as assigned.

Job qualifications

Education

  • High School Diploma/GED required
  • Associate's Degree or Trade Tech school graduate preferred

Work Experience

  • 5-7 years progressive journeyman level experience in building maintenance and equipment repair knowledge and possession of hand and/or power tools necessary to perform routine maintenance operations required
