Major Duties and Responsibilities
The appointee will be responsible mainly for the following:
- Monitoring and evaluating contractor performance in the delivery of facilities management (FM) services, ensuring adherence to quality standards and compliance;
Assisting in the development and implementation of facilities management policies for the University, contributing to strategic planning initiatives;Providing comprehensive logistical support for university-wide events, ensuring that all requirements are met efficiently; Managing the handling, response, investigation, and follow-up of feedback and complaints related to facilities management services; Supporting supervisors in team management and operational tasks, fostering a collaborative and productive work environment; Aiding in the preparation of FM-related tenders, ensuring compliance with University standards and requirements; andPerforming any other duties as assigned. Candidates should possess the following qualifications, experience and competence:
- A recognised bachelor’s degree.
- A minimum of two years of relevant working experience, preferably within tertiary education institutions, public organisations, or large-scale property management companies.
- Ability to lead and manage contractors and handle a complex, varied workload.
- Self-motivated, able to work under pressure, with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficient in both written and spoken English and Chinese, with knowledge of Putonghua preferred.
- Familiarity with basic office software, including MS Office.
