Faculty Operations Coordinator
Job Summary
Workforce Operations Generalists Provide workforce/human resource support to university department or division. Position reports to university department or division rather than to central HR. Perform various human resources duties in areas such as recruiting, employment, compensation, training, employee relations, or other special projects. Provide unit-level guidance on human resources issues. Partner with management teams to facilitate the delivery of HR services as appropriate. Acts as the HR liaison between the unit, Central Human Resources and internal and external customers. Serve as contact for employees in the unit and answer questions regarding HR policies and procedures. Coordinate HR processes with Central Human Resources. Work with Central Human Resources to coordinate salary actions, job postings and employee relations issues.
This role plans and implements processes and/or projects of varying complexity related to faculty onboarding and offboarding, credentialing, licensing, and academic reviews for the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology. Some essential functions include, but not limited to:
- Coordinates and completes hiring and onboarding processes, including but not limited to posting faculty and advanced practice clinician positions; coordinating travel and interview itineraries for candidates; and being in person on interview and/or onboarding days.
- Coordinates and completes offboarding processes.
- Coordinates and supports credentialing, re-credentialing, and licensing for faculty, fellows, and APCs.
- Coordinates and supports all annual FRA, TFR/CFR, and faculty contract renewal processes.
