The Graduate School of Business at Stanford University invites applications for tenure-track faculty positions in economics beginning September 1, 2026. All fields of economics will be considered. Candidates should possess strong research and teaching abilities and must have, or expect to have, a PhD by September 1, 2026. Duties include research and teaching in the MBA and PhD programs at the Graduate School of Business.
The expected base pay range for this position is:
- Assistant Professor: $265,000 - $285,000
- Associate Professor: $310,000 - $335,000
- Full Professor: $390,000 - $450,000
Stanford University has provided a pay range representing its good faith estimate of what the university reasonably expects to pay for the position. The pay offered to the selected candidate will be determined based on factors including (but not limited to) the experience and qualifications of the selected candidate including years since terminal degree, training, and field or discipline; departmental budget availability; internal equity; and external market pay for comparable jobs.
Candidates should possess strong research and teaching abilities and must have, or expect to have, a PhD by September 1, 2026. Duties include research and teaching in the MBA and PhD programs at the Graduate School of Business.
