About the role:

As Faculty Review Coordinator, you will lead initiatives to enhance assessment and feedback across the School of Medicine’s undergraduate and postgraduate programmes. Working closely with academic teams, you’ll drive evidence-based improvements that reduce assessment load, maintain academic excellence, and elevate the student experience.

What you would be doing:

In this role, you’ll be at the heart of transforming how assessment and feedback are delivered across the School of Medicine’s BSc and Postgraduate Taught programmes. You’ll work closely with academic teams to map assessments, identify areas for improvement, and help reduce assessment load while maintaining academic standards. You’ll lead data analysis, coordinate focus groups, and present your findings to senior stakeholders to shape meaningful change. From improving feedback quality to enhancing student experience, you’ll be driving initiatives that make a real impact. You’ll also stay ahead of sector trends, contribute to strategic planning, and support the delivery of key education projects across the College.

What we are looking for:

We’re looking for someone who is analytical, collaborative, and passionate about improving education. You should have:

  • Experience working in higher education, particularly in roles related to assessment, quality assurance, or curriculum development.
  • Strong analytical skills, with the ability to interpret complex data and present clear, evidence-based recommendations.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with confidence in engaging with senior stakeholders and facilitating collaborative discussions.
  • A proactive and organised approach to project management, with the ability to coordinate multiple activities and meet deadlines.
  • A good understanding of assessment and feedback practices in higher education, and a commitment to enhancing the student experience.
  • Confidence in using digital tools (e.g., Excel, data dashboards, virtual collaboration platforms) to support analysis and reporting.
  • A flexible, can-do attitude and the ability to adapt to changing priorities and work across teams.

What we can offer you:

The opportunity to continue your career at a world-leading institution and be part of our mission to use science for humanity by sharing your passion and inspiring the next generation. Gain access to Imperial's top-tier Educational Development Unit, which offers a wide range of tailored educational development services to meet your needs. Join a diverse and innovative learning and teaching community at an institution that values research-led educational provision. Sector-leading salary and remuneration package (including 39 days off a year and generous pension schemes). Be part of a diverse, inclusive and collaborative work culture with various staff networks and resources to support your personal and professional wellbeing.
