Job Summary
The primary responsibilities of this position are to answer telephones, greet visitors as they enter the office, answer basic questions and perform miscellaneous administrative and clerical duties as assigned.
Responsibilities
- Meet, greet, and welcome visitors.
- Take incoming calls and deal with such calls promptly and in a professional manner.
- Perform general administrative duties, Including receiving, sorting, scanning, and emailing documents; sorting and distributing mail; filling copiers/printers with paper, maintaining forms areas and bulletin boards; and assisting faculty and staff as needed.
- Student worker will also be responsible for orientation, open house, and other recruitment/retention activities.
Required Qualifications
- The student must be registered for at least 6 credit hours.
- The student must be in good academic standing.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience in an office setting is preferred but not required.
Proposed Salary
$13.00/Hour
