- Remuneration: Level 7 $113,926 - $123,302 (pro rata) + 17% super + leave loading
- Location: Kensington, NSW (Hybrid)

Why Your Role Matters:
The Finance Analyst supports financial management activities, including planning, forecasting, reporting, data analysis, and financial modelling. As part of the Finance Business Partnering team, the role ensures effective financial services for Faculties and Divisions, covering all funding sources. The position reports to the Finance Manager and has no direct reports.
Key responsibilities:
- Financial Management: Assist with month-end processes, planning, forecasting, reporting, and analysis.
- Modelling & Analysis: Perform financial modelling, scenario analysis, and variance investigations to support decision-making.
- Stakeholder Collaboration: Develop financial plans, report performance, and monitor expenditure with stakeholders.
- Compliance & Support: Ensure data integrity, align budgets with policies, and address risks or compliance issues.
Who You Are:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Finance Analyst with:
- Qualifications and Expertise: A relevant tertiary qualification, CA or CPA accreditation (or equivalent), and professional sector experience.
- Financial Acumen: Proven experience in financial management, control processes, analysis, and delivering accurate advice and services.
- Communication Skills: Strong interpersonal, communication, and stakeholder management abilities to engage and negotiate effectively with diverse internal and external audiences.
- Technical Proficiency: Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel for financial modelling and analysis, along with experience using enterprise systems, analytical tools, and preparing reports and presentations.
- Organisational Excellence: Exceptional time management and organisational skills, with the ability to manage competing priorities under pressure while delivering outstanding customer service.
