Role Introduction / About the Role:
- We are seeking a Finance Coordinator to work within Estates Division as part of the Management Accounting function.
- This role will support the team delivering high quality reporting and advice to the Department and ensure compliance with Financial Regulations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide guidance to Budget holders on Financial Regulations and University procedures.
- Prepare Management accounts and ad hoc reports to Budget holders advising on variance and amendments required.
- Input into the budget planning process assisting with data collection.
- Assist with a training Programme to ensure a clear understanding of budgets.
About you:
- To be successful in this role, the postholder must be proactive and demonstrate strong communication skills, with the ability to clearly explain information to colleagues who may not be familiar with financial terminology.
- The role holder should have excellent IT skills and be competent at using Excel.
- The role holder should be a supportive team member with strong time management skills, able to balance and prioritise varying workloads as needed.

Fixed-term: The funds for this post are available for 18 months in the first instance.
