We’re looking for a Fiscal Analyst who is not just comfortable with numbers but confident using them to tell a story and drive decisions.
- Do you have experience creating and using dashboards to track, analyze, and present data?
- Are you confident interpreting data and communicating your findings clearly to departments and leadership?
- Are you highly proficient in Microsoft Excel, including advanced functions, data analysis, and reporting tools?
- Do you enjoy solving problems and identifying trends that improve processes and outcomes?

In Enrollment Management Central Office, we provide exceptional service for Enrollment Management budget, finance, and HR needs to allow individual offices to thrive.
Enrollment Management Central Office (EMCO) operates as a shared service hub, supporting the business needs of the following areas:
- Undergraduate Admissions
- Enrollment Data Analytics
- Student Financial Aid & Scholarships
- New Student Orientation
- Registrar Services
- TRIO Programs
- Visitor Center
Together, we deliver the operational support that enables departments to focus on their core areas of expertise.
Minimum Qualifications (Classified and Unclassified positions)
Preferred Qualifications
- Prior work experience, particularly in college or university business office settings, is preferred.
- Knowledge of University of South Carolina budgeting policies, procedures, financial systems.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
Knowledge/Skills/Abilities
- Ability to analyze data, perform multiple tasks and solve complex financial problems.
- Ability to understand and comply with policies and procedures.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
- Considerable computer mastery with specific knowledge of other Microsoft Office products (Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, Teams) and Adobe Acrobat is essential.
- Comprehension of financial record keeping procedures, laws, regulations, and standards.
- Excellent communication, problem-solving skills, and a positive attitude.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a deadline-driven environment.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills are required.
- Keen attention to detail and ability to maintain confidential information are required. Must be sensitive to the private nature of personnel and financial information.
- Demonstrate strong analytical skills, the capacity to learn web-based financial and HR systems, and the ability to correctly interpret USC policies and procedures.
- Ability to establish and sustain positive working relationships with staff, co-workers, and other internal constituents across campus.
- Ability to manage sensitive personnel and financial situations and information with confidentiality and discretion.
- Ability to effectively and appropriately manage time and prioritize tasks is required.
- Ability to manage multiple concurrent tasks of a varied nature.
- Must possess excellent organizational skills.
- Must be able to work independently with little direction as well as collaboratively within a team.
